Prayer Ministry in the Parish

Would you like someone to pray with you?

At each of our main Sunday services there is an opportunity to receive Prayer ministry. One of the team, wearing a Prayer Ministry Team badge, will pray with you. The minister leading the service will announce how this will happen and a card in the pew gives more details.

Alternatively, or in addition, you could write a prayer request and leave it in the prayer box at the back of church or on the prayer tree. These prayers will be offered to God during the week.

Could you offer to support people in prayer?

A number of people regularly ask for prayer at our services.

We would welcome members of our congregation to offer to pray for people who have left requests in the prayer box or on the prayer tree.

Could you pray every day for a fortnight for someone, who has left a prayer request in the box? If so please talk to the churchwarden, one of the welcomers, or one of the ministry team.

Why not join us at Morning Prayer on Mondays and Tuesdays in St James’ Church, or at St Aidan’s Church on Wednesdays, at 9am to participate in this important ministry?
